Private Berlin Tour Third Reich Era
Hitler’s atrocities during World War II are known by people the world over. Germany is a different country today, but the history remains, and not only is it fascinating and unusual, but from it, we can learn about human nature and our own conduct in our increasingly diverse global culture.
Artefacts from this period are part of Berlin’s cityscape, and witnessing them will teach you more than any textbook, but you need to understand them. Whether you are a student working on your final dissertation, or you are just searching for unbiased truths, we offer educational tours, both by car and on foot, as a way of passing on coherent and accurate information about Berlin in the National Socialist era.
During your 3-hour private Berlin tour, your knowledgeable guide will speak unflinchingly about the terrors of living under the Third Reich in Berlin, with visits to sites that are central to that historical period.
Your guide will take you around important landmarks such as the Reich Chancellery, which marked the start of Hitler’s brutal regime. The original residence, designed to house Germany’s leaders, was compared to a soap factory by Hitler, who nevertheless held onto it, while insisting that his personal architect, Albert Speer, build another one in the distinct style of that era.
Hitler also insisted on having a personal underground bunker (the Führerbunker). Ironically, this invincible 30-room air raid shelter is where the Third Reich came to its gory end.
Due to extremely high demand, we offer individual and larger group tours along this specific route in Berlin, so no one need miss out. Just get in touch, and we will arrange for you to really familiarise yourself with Berlin during the National Socialist era.
